About Us

PLEASE COME FOR A VISIT!

We’d like to invite you to come visit Sunday morning! Our worship service starts at 10:30 a.m. and lasts until 11:50. Sunday School starts before our worship service at 9:30 and runs until 10:20. Doughnuts and refreshments are available in the fellowship hall previous to Sunday School beginning at 9:00. Dress code is: If you are coming to worship, you are welcome. I am not sure that was about us or you! We'd love to see you! Come for a one Sunday visit and then decide what you think of us!

Things to know about us:
We love the Lord Jesus!
We believe that in Him, you may have abundant life both now and forever. We believe that obedience to Jesus is and ought to be the aim of every man. So we preach and teach discipleship after Him. You should anticipate that the sermons preached and the lessons taught will relate truth and everyday life to Jesus.

We believe the Bible!
We are convinced that the Bible is the Word of God to man. It is the authority we refer to in developing our manners and policies as a believing Church. The Bible is the lens through which we see Jesus Whom we follow.

We want to know you!
You are important. And you are important to us. We hope you know that upon your visit. We do want to know about you. We are hopeful, respecting every visitor. that a long time relationship of love and service will develop. If you are just in town for a little while, we want you to have a nice visit, receive a blessing by being here and continue in that blessing to your destination. We know that you may be looking for a church home. We heartily invite your interest, your visits, and your questions and comments.

We want to serve!
Our church has a history of looking for opportunities to serve others in need. When the tornado ripped through Joplin in 2011, we housed volunteers from all over the country. We host a birthday party at Spring River Christian Village. We provide Christmas food baskets to the less fortunate. Our members are involved in a number of service projects: Greeting kids at their schools, delivering meals for Meals on Wheels, helping in the ministry of American Rehabilitation Ministry (A prison ministry). The exhaustive list of these things would be considerably longer.

We have been here in Webb City for over 125 years. OK. Not us personally. But our church has a long history of serving this community and it is our intention to continue with all the devotion to Christ our Lord that we can muster.

Please feel free to contact us by leaving a message on our church phone (417)673-4258 or call our minister
Mike Geisert directly on his cell phone (501)762-2939. You can also contact us by e-mail: fccwebbcity@att.net.
